Part 1 : How to Install DIGSI 4 (Length : 00:01:57)
The procedure of installing DIGSI 4 software with the serial number is shown in this part.
Part 2 : Introduction to SIPROTEC Relay Families (Length : 00:06:50)
Different SIPROTEC relay families with the feature and applications are introduced in this part.
Part 3 : Wiring Connection (Length : 00:03:02)
Terminal and wiring connections of SIPROTEC 4 relays is explained in this part.
Part 4: Start with DIGSI 4 (Length : 00:19:12)
Starting work with DIGSI 4 is introduced in this part. A new project is created and a new device is inserted. Different position of the MLFB of the relay is explained based on the device catalog. Also, different parts of DIGSI 4 is introduced in this section.
Part 5 : Archive, Export, Import (Length : 00:12:36)
The DIGSI 4 provides an archiving function for your projects. All the data belonging to a project is saved in compressed form in a file and extracted for further processing. This part describes following topics:
- How we can archive and retrieving a project
- How we can export a device with different type (Digsi format to transfer a device, XML format, Xrio : to export various settings of protection functions in Omicron format, export CFC charts, icd and iid)
- How we can import device and differences between a variant and real device
- How we can compare parameters sets of two siprotec devices in DIGSI

Part 6 : Masking I/O (Length : 00:11:00)
The device matrix is a tool for configuring and editing the information of a SIPROTEC 4 device.it is the hub of information flow. Here, the source and destination of all the information flow of the device is configured. for exapmle if we want to see a measured value on the graphic default display, the appropriate measurement must be routed in this matrix. another example if we want to program of the CFC chart, the required input and output routing in the matrix must first be completed. Therefore, every annunciation, measured value or control command used in the CFC-chart must first be routed accordingly in this matrix. This part explains different parts of the Masking IO Horizontally and Vertically. Different options for configuring the matrix have been explained and a new information element has been inserted and config it for a function key.
Part 7 : Masking I/O (Length : 00:04:51)
Filters can be used to limit the display of the information of an extensive matrix to the section which you require for the current configuration of your data. This part shows how we can filter the information based on their types.
Part 8 : Masking I/O (Length : 00:13:08)
An information is an event, value, or command that has meaning for a siprotec relay. we can config these information in the protection device or control system. There are many information which are grouped and we can config them in this matrix. This part describes different types of information.
Part 9 : Default and Control Display (Length : 00:16:21)
In devices with 4-line display the default display shows the measured values of the feeder. In devices with graphical display the default display can be configured. It is usually based on a graphical scheme of the feeder. Important operational measured values, such as the current and voltage in the feeder, can be displayed continuously. Switching operations are not possible when in the default display. The control display is used to do this task. This part describes default and control display. A new topology has been drawn and the elements have been linked to the items of information from the SIPROTEC device. Also, the procedure of adding new symbol and device has been shown in this part.
Part 10 : CFC (Length : 00:11:57)
CFC or Continuous Function Chart is for programming SIPROTEC devices. The graphic user interface is used to connect items of information and program, for example, interlocks and switching sequences as well as your own automation and protection functions. In the CFC chart you interconnect the information prepared in the DIGSI 4 configuration matrix by means of CFC blocks. This part describe the DIGSI CFC and how we can config the required information on matrix. Different priority classes of CFC have been explained in this part.
Part 11 : CFC and Implementation of experimental example (Length : 00:07:59)
Working with a real device is very important in a training course. This part shows how we can implement a function in a SIPROTEC device. To do this, new function has been designed, the relevant information with configuration has been added in the matrix, a new CFC chart has been created and compiled in DIGSI CFC, and finally the settings has been downloaded to the device. And finally, the function has been tested in the device
Part 12 : CFC Interlocking Example (Length : 00:04:26)
This part shows how we can define a program to check interlocking conditions for switching a breaker
Part 13 : CFC Protection Example (Length : 00:04:13)
This part shows how we can create a new CFC to block directional overcurrent phase and group if any error happen in the input of voltage circuit.

Part 15 : Power System Data 1 (Length : 00:08:34)
Power system data 1 is the individual power system data which is independent of setting groups such as frequency, voltage, data of the current and voltage transformers and data of the circuit breaker . This part describe different settings options for the power system data 1.
Part 16 : Setting Group (Length : 00:19:13)
This part describe different settings options in the setting group and how we can set the parameter via setting table.
Part 17 : Oscillographic Fault Recorders (Length : 00:03:06)
Siprotec devices are equipped with a fault record memory and it can save the instantaneous values of the measured quantities such as voltage and current. This part describes different parameter setting for the oscillographic Fault Recorders
Part 18 : General Device Settings (Length : 00:04:39)
General information of siprotec device can be set device general. This part explain different settings option in general deice setting and the general device information in masking IO has been described in this part.
Part 19 : Time Synchroniztion and Interfaces (Length : 00:03:40)
Time synchronization and communication settings are explained in this part.
Part 20 : Device Driver and Firmware Update (Length : 00:09:04)
The procedure of the device driver and firmware update for the SIPROTEC 4 devices are shown in this part.
Part 21 : Config SIPROTEC relay in a Practical Project (Length : 00:14:36
This part is the most important part of this training course. A SIPROTEC 4 relay has been inserted into the project and it has been configured based on the real data of a practical project. Binay inputs, Binay output and trips as well as the data which need to send to SCADA have been configured in masking IO based on the diagrams and setting tables of the project.
